Sandwell MBC introduced Richard to NLP as a tool for developing human potential.
Back then Richards’s role was to support unemployed people into jobs within one of
the UK’s most deprived regions.
Richards subsequent experience in the strategic deployment of employment support
and policy led to a greater understanding that people already had the greatest resource
they would ever need to be successful. Just that most of society had never learnt
how to access it.
Richard's NLP Trainer pathway included an intensive programme of professional NLP
trainer development with John Seymour (Internationally renowned UK NLP Trainer &
author) who heads an equally internationally renowned team at JSNLP in Bristol. Richard
was fortunate enough to have been awarded a John Seymour 'A' Grade NLP Trainer award
which as Richard says, "is a testimony to John Seymour's experience, professionalism,
commitment and integrity".
His original practitioner training with Nick Kemp (amongst others) was accredited
by the Society of NLP (SNLP) which was established, and remains managed by Dr Richard
Bandler, co-founder of NLP. All three SNLP certificates have been personally signed
by Dr Richard Bandler.
Richard Pearce is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development,
(CIPD) where he holds formal accreditation as a trainer.
As a "trainer member" of the Association of NLP (ANLP), successful Kochin participants
are able to apply to the ANLP for practitioner registration. Like Kochin, participants
will be required to pay annual membership fees, and subscribe to the ANLP code of
conduct. Additional information can be found here.
